2 cl Amaro Montenegro
1 cl Cynar
2 cl Bonanto Aperitivo
1 cl Carpano Botanic Bitter
3 cl Grapefruit Superjuice
1,5 cl Vanilla sirup(2:1)
1 dash Grapefruit Bitters
Dry Sparkling Wine(champagne) top
Shake everything except the champagne, fine strain into a chilled Coupe and top with
champagne. Garnish with a Grapefruit zest.
If Bonanto Aperitivo and/or Carpano Botanic Bitter are not available, you can substitute them with
Aperol. The Drink will be different and more one dimensional but still very tasty.
The Aperol version is called:
Flying Venetian
2 cl Amaro Montenegro
1 cl Cynar
3 cl Aperol
3 cl Grapefruit Superjuice
1 cl Vanilla sirup(2:1)
1 dash Grapefruit Bitters
Dry Sparkling Wine(champagne) top
Shake everything except the champagne,
fine strain into a chilled Coupe and top with
champagne. Garnish with a Grapefruit zest.
Depending on the bottle of sparkling wine
you have available, you can adjust the
Cocktail with the amount of vanilla sirup. I
recommend staying between 0,5 cl and 1,5
cl and adjusting to your taste.
Grapefruit Superjuice:
I recommend following the Recipe Kevin Kos released on his YouTube Channel.
And Lastly if you cant find grapefruits or don’t want to make Superjuice. You can use Lemon
instead and increase the Grapefruit Bitters, but please don’t. Do not use acid adjusted grapefruit
juice, this would take over the drink completely.
